VNA - Vietnam is willing to cooperate with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and assist it in mining and agricultural production, Deputy Prime Minster Pham Gia Khiem has said.
Receiving the visiting Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade, Ri Myong San, in Hanoi on April 1, Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Khiem also said the two countries have potential of further cooperation.
Vietnam welcomes DPRK's delegations on the occasion of the 60 th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties, he added.
The DPRK Deputy Minister said he was impressed with the achievements in socio-economic development Vietnam has made and expressed his hope to receive more assistance from Vietnam, especially in ensuring food security.
